Entering his Junior Year at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Nathan Rosenmann is an aspiring physics major who joined the Microspectroscopy Group early in the Summer of 2018 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Assisting in the creation of Graphene Liquid Cells (GLC), he hopes to find cleaner and more efficient production methods that will ultimately improve the quality and quantity of specimens by using Raman Spectroscopy and the Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) to visualize the atomic makeup and structure .While continuing his education, he is looking forward to familiarizing himself with the various techniques used to analyze nano-scale materials over the following two years, as well as becoming more proficient in python to better interpret data computationally.
